Tabletop pottery platform
A simple by very useful tool if you add your makers mark with a stamp like I do.
Fed up of ruining my pots when adding my stamp, I made a press attachment for my Mini Clay Extruder (see seperate listing). I had a customer ask if I could do a taller one, so this is the press attachments' big brother!
This press attachment works with my Mini Clay Extruder or you can purchase the 'Clamp On Base' for use without the extruder (clamps not included). This base also works with 'The Potter's 3rd Arm', so is multipurpose.
The press attachment provides you with a solid platform to rest your pot so you can add your maker's mark without deforming the base of your pot.
When mounted on the table clamp, it gives you a workable height of about 12cm.
When mounted on the extruder, it gives you a workable height of about 15cm
The platform is 7cm in diameter.
This is a made to order 3D printed item. It is made out of PLA filament which is a recyclable, natural thermoplastic polyester that is derived from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugar cane. It is biodegradable under certain conditions.
